Gold Ambassador Volunteers

Help is always on hand at the T1 International Terminal.  Whether you require information about check-in, transport, airport facilities or accommodation our friendly volunteers will answer your questions and point you in the right direction.

There are a number of information desks located within the terminal. These desks are staffed by a team of volunteers known as the Gold Ambassadors.

The Sydney Airport Gold Ambassador Program provides airport help and customer service for passengers and visitors to T1 International Terminal.  From the moment you step off a plane or walk into the terminal, there is an efficient and friendly team looking out for you.

Help Desk locations are:

T1 Departures

• Between check-in counters "G" and "H", adjacent glass lifts.
• Opposite check-in counter "D", near front entrance.

T1 Arrivals

• Opposite passenger exit A & B.

In addition, Gold Ambassadors roam the Terminal wearing bright gold jackets, they always stand out in the crowd.  Each one is a volunteer who donates up to twelve hours per week simply because they enjoy meeting and helping visitors to the airport.  With them, they bring a sincere and caring attitude that has created a lasting impression of Australia for all our guests.
