Sydney Airport has opened its $65 million eight storey car park at the International Terminal.

The new car park provides around 2,800 parking spaces meaning that there are now more than 4,300 car parking spaces available for passengers and staff at the International Terminal.

For the first time, the new car park provides undercover parking at the International Terminal.  The car park is directly linked to the departures level of the terminal by a bridge that provides undercover access for pedestrians.  Within the car park there are travelators and lifts to provide easy access for passengers with luggage, as well as LCD flight information display screens.

The car park provides a high level of customer service operating 24 hours a day every day of the year.  It also offers a range of valet parking options.  

The car park is a high standard facility with fittings and finishes in the foyer, lifts, travelators and toilets of the same standard as those found in the International Terminal itself. 

The car park has dual plumbing and will use recycled water in toilets once Sydney Airport’s water treatment plant is completed.
