NEW CAR PARK OPENS AT THE INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL
Sydney Airport has opened its $65 million eight storey car park at the International Terminal.
The new car park provides around 2,800 parking spaces meaning that there are now more than 4,300 car parking spaces available for passengers and staff at the International Terminal.
For the first time, the new car park provides undercover parking at the International Terminal. The car park is directly linked to the departures level of the terminal by a bridge that provides undercover access for pedestrians. Within the car park there are travelators and lifts to provide easy access for passengers with luggage, as well as LCD flight information display screens.
The car park provides a high level of customer service operating 24 hours a day every day of the year. It also offers a range of valet parking options.
The car park is a high standard facility with fittings and finishes in the foyer, lifts, travelators and toilets of the same standard as those found in the International Terminal itself.
The car park has dual plumbing and will use recycled water in toilets once Sydney Airport's water treatment plant is completed.

The new Qantas Valet service is located off

Short Stay Parking Less than one day (no overnight parking) |
Dropping Off or Picking Up Convenient parking is available for short stay visitors to the T1 International Terminal. All spaces are on Arrivals level within the T1 public car park, directly in front of the terminal.

Remote Long Term Parking Area (Not available for International travellers after 9 July 2008)
From 9 July 2008, International long term parking will only be provided directly at the International Terminal main public car park. The shuttle bus service between the Long Term Car Park and the International Terminal will no longer operate.
The new International Multistorey car park will have capacity to cater for all short and long stay parking.

Until the 9th of July 2008 you may use the long term car park which is located on Ross Smith Avenue. This is the car park of choice for the budget conscious traveller and includes free air conditioned shuttle bus transfers to and from T1.
Please ensure that you arrive at this car park at least 3 hours prior to your flight departure time, to allow for the shuttle bus and check in process.
