• Sydney Airport supporting aviation services to regional Australia
Sydney Airport has welcomed its latest airline serving regional Australia, Skytrans, which has commenced a weekday Sydney-Toowoomba service.
“Sydney Airport is delighted to once again be supporting regional aviation, and this time with a destination interstate,” Sydney Airport chief executive officer Kerrie Mather said.
“Skytrans is a major regional passenger airline based out of Cairns and servicing a major network in North Queensland. We welcome the extension of its services to New South Wales and its inaugural service from South Queensland to Sydney.”
Skytrans will initially fly six return services a week, increasing to 10 within 12 months.
