• Wide choice of prepaid online options prove a hit with airport visitors
• Expanded car parks at International and Domestic terminals attract bigger customer volumes
• Prepaid online deals make parking better value than ever before

Prepaid online parking deals have proved a hit with travellers and visitors to Sydney Airport, attracting increasing numbers of customers to the International and Domestic terminal car parks.

Customers can choose from a range of prepaid online special offers designed to meet their parking needs, and save up to 73 per cent on standard parking rates.

There are around 50 good value online parking deals now available to international and domestic customers, and online parking bookings have increased almost fivefold since they were first introduced just over two years ago.

Among the most popular special offers this summer have been the Weekender deal starting at $69 at Domestic Car Park P3, with savings of up to 62 per cent over a four-day stay, and the Great Escape deal from $199 for up to one month at the T1 International car park, saving customers up to 73 per cent on the standard rate.

“We have developed a great range of prepaid online parking deals for both the leisure and business traveller, and these deals have proved very popular thanks to the big savings they can offer,” Sydney Airport General Manager Parking and Ground Transport, Craig Norton, said.

“This means parking at Sydney Airport can, in many cases, be the cheaper and more convenient way of getting to and from the airport than other travel alternatives.”

Mr Norton added that across Sydney Airport there has been a 25 per cent increase in car parking spaces in less than two years to cater to the stronger demand generated by better value parking deals.

The most recent expansion added 964 new spaces at Car Park P3 at the Domestic terminal in December last year.
