Sydney Airport is proudly supporting tonight’s Premier’s Harmony Dinner in Western Sydney, which celebrates cultural diversity as the marquee event of Multicultural March.

More than 1,500 representatives from multicultural communities in New South Wales (NSW) are expected to attend the gala event at Rosehill Gardens.

“As the gateway to Australia welcoming 40 per cent of all international visitors, Sydney Airport is proud to support the Premier’s Harmony Dinner and celebrate cultural diversity,” Sydney Airport Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Kerrie Mather said.

“We welcome close to 40 million passengers a year from 94 destinations around the world. We’re committed to growing tourism and recorded a strong 4.3 per cent increase in international passengers last year.

“This event is a great opportunity to recognise our culturally diverse passengers, staff and community.

“We’d also like to congratulate the inductees to the Multicultural Honour Roll and the recipients of the Premier’s Multicultural Community Medal for their commitment to fostering harmony in the community.”

Multicultural NSW CEO Hakan Harman said the Premier’s Harmony Dinner is a celebration of our state’s cultural diversity and brings together representatives from all sections of society.

“Our cultural diversity is one of our greatest assets and I am pleased to see Sydney Airport support the event for the second year in a row,” Mr Harman said.

Multicultural March honours the NSW Government’s commitment to building and maintaining a cohesive and harmonious multicultural society that enriches the lives of all the people of NSW. The Premier’s Harmony Dinner, now in its fifth year, features multicultural food, fashion and entertainment.
