Blu Emu - Self-Park

The Blu Emu is our mascot for budget Domestic parking at Sydney Airport!

 

The Blu Emu Car Park (formerly the Long Term Car Park) is located on-site at Sydney Airport and offers budget parking for Domestic travellers staying 1 day or more.

 

This car park is ideal for both holidays or business trips and is just a short complimentary shuttle ride to the Domestic T2 & T3 terminals.

 

Choose between open-air parking, or for just $5 extra per day you can upgrade to the shaded area.

 

Location: Ross Smith Avenue, take either General Holmes Drive, Sir Reginald Ansett Drive or Butler Road and follow the signs to the Blu Emu Car Park (formerly the Long Term Car Park). Map.

 

Shuttle Bus: A free, air-conditioned shuttle bus, the Blu Emu Express, operates on a continual rotation between the Blu Emu Car Park and the Domestic terminals. Buses depart every 10 - 15 minutes and the trip between the car park and the terminal takes about 8 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

 

Height Restrictions: 3.5 metres for open-air parking, 2.2 metres for the shaded area.

 

Hours of Operation: 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

 

Standard Rates: Rates apply per calendar day (midnight to midnight) or part thereof.

Shaded Parking

 

Add just $5 extra per day to the above parking rates to park your car in the shaded area.

When you arrive at the car park, pull a ticket at the main entry gates and then proceed to the entrance of the shaded area. At these gates, insert your entry ticket to gain access to this area.

Payment Methods: Cash payments are no longer possible at the exit gates. Payment can be made by credit card (including debit credit cards) at the exit gates, EFTPOS is not accepted.

If you wish to pay cash, you must visit the pay station located in the lounge next to the exit gates. Open-air parkers are welcome to utilise the ‘Park to Pay’ bays located near the exit after retrieving their vehicle. Shaded area parkers must visit the lounge before returning to their vehicle to pay cash, otherwise credit card payment is required before exiting the shaded area gates.
