Passengers, staff and visitors to Sydney Airport should note the following roadworks advice from NSW Roads and Maritime Services when planning travel.
M5 East Freeway night resurfacing
A program of resurfacing work along the full length of the M5 East Freeway, including the on and off ramps and the tunnels, will start on Sunday 11 December and is expected to be completed by the end of March 2012. The work will take approximately 27 nights to complete and require full closures of the freeway, including the tunnels, in both directions.
