The Sydney Airport Ambassador program provides exceptional customer service to passengers visiting the airport. Ambassadors offer a warm welcome to visitors, creating a positive first and last impression of Sydney.
Mandarin speaking Red Ambassadors provide a point of contact for Chinese passengers, particularly during the busy Christmas and Chinese New Year periods. The Red Ambassadors are complemented by a suite of ‘China ready’ initiatives, including Chinese language signage, simplified Chinese versions of our website and free app, Asian food and beverage options, and the availability of China Union Pay across many retail outlets.

The Sydney Airport Ambassador program provides an opportunity to welcome people from around the world, make new friends and be a vital part of Australia’s busiest airport.
Sydney Airport is looking for English and Mandarin speaking volunteers at T1 and T2 who are willing to commit to a minimum of eight hours (two x four hour shifts) per week.
