Sydney Airport will host its sixth annual Christmas Appeal in 2017 in partnership with Cure Cancer Australia.
Cure Cancer Australia exclusively funds early-career cancer researchers working across all areas of cancer research and all cancer types. The funds raised from this year’s Christmas Appeal will provide grants to support the most promising cancer-research projects from Australia’s most innovative emerging scientists. This year, Cure Cancer Australia will host a number of exciting activations to help raise funds over the festive season.
Cure Cancer Christmas will run throughout the festive period, launching with our annual runway run on Sunday 12th November. Tickets and information for this event are available here.
The highly anticipated Red Tie BarbarCURE Hangar Dinner will be held on Thursday, 7 December, with the airport community coming together to celebrate Christmas with breathtaking views of the airfield. Since 2012, the Sydney Airport Community Giving Christmas Appeal has raised over $1 million to support those in our communities who need it most. We are calling on the airport and wider community to help raise as much as possible towards finding a cure for cancer. Together, we can all give the gift of hope.
We look forward to supporting Australia’s brightest emerging minds as they search for a cure for all cancers.
