Sydney Airport is currently building a new, elevated pedestrian and cycle path that will provide safer access to the T1 International terminal. As we complete these works, we’ll be temporarily closing part of our P9 open air car park to allow construction to take place.
If you’re visiting T1 International during June, you can expect outdoor parking space and free pick-up at T1 International to be extremely limited.
We strongly recommend using alternative transport, such as the train, if you would normally use the 15-minute free parking at the International terminal. If you have no alternative to driving, please be prepared for delays accessing free parking, especially during the morning peak period.
Paid parking at the P7 multi-storey car park at T1 remains fully operational.
We expect the open air car park will be returned to full operation in early July, subject to weather conditions.
This building work does not affect parking at the T2/T3 Domestic precinct.
We thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete this important work as part of our ground transport improvement program. It’s all part of our commitment to make it easier to travel to and from the airport, no matter what mode of transport you choose.
