Commitment to passenger experience recognised at prestigious awards

For the second consecutive year, we were named the nation’s top Capital City Airport at the AAA’s National Airport Industry Awards.

The award recognises our ongoing commitment to providing a world-class passenger experience, sustainability initiatives, community investment and industry-leading innovation.

We also took home the Technology award for our landmark facial recognition trial and the contribution it’s making to the aviation and tourism industries. The ‘couch-to-gate’ biometrics processing trial is one of the most ambitious in the world and brings the global aviation industry a significant step closer to passengers’ faces serving as their passports and boarding passes.
