Supporting classic community event

We were once again a proud partner of the IMB Bank Cook Community Classic, which Sydney Airport has supported for the past 11 years.

This important community event helps raise money for more than 70 local charities and organisations across the St George and Sutherland Shire area, including Project Youth, Sutherland Shire Lioness Club and Giants Baseball Club, among others.

Sydney Airport is a key employer in the area, with more than 30 per cent of the precinct’s 30,000-strong workforce living in the St George and Sutherland Shire area.

We also supported the Beachside DASH in September, which raised awareness and funds for the St George & Sutherland Medical Research Foundation.

We are committed to helping our local communities thrive, supporting the leaders of tomorrow, embracing and showcasing Sydney’s best, and partnering with a range of local community events, charities, festivals, clubs, councils and other organisations.
