Toscow, Kailis and Cerrone open in new jewellery precinct in SYD International terminal
Sydney Airport, in conjunction with Nuance Australia, has celebrated the opening of a
brand new jewellery precinct within SYD Tax & Duty Free in the T1 International
terminal. The new concept features a trio of boutiques from luxury Australian brands
Toscow, Kailis and Cerrone.
Australian opal is one of the ‘must have’ keepsakes for visitors to Australia’s shores. As
the largest opal jeweller in Australia, Toscow’s new boutique in T1 brings their trademark
Australian opal jewellery to international travellers at tax and duty free prices. The new
shop is the first to use a new concept furniture design, which not only provides a stylish
setting to display the fine jewels, but also a luxury shopping experience for tax and duty
Now also open in T1 is a new Kailis Australian pearls boutique, offering their lustrous
range of elegant pearl jewellery. Kailis’ international reputation rests on the rarity and
beauty of Australian South Sea pearls, which it sets in modern, elegant and versatile
pieces of jewellery. Over the past four decades, Kailis has grown from a small specialist
pearl jewellery store in Broome to become an iconic Australian luxury brand.
Rounding out the trio is Australia’s leading manufacturer in exquisite jewellery, Cerrone.
Since Nicola Cerrone started his business in a small terrace house in Leichhardt over 40
years ago, Cerrone Jewellers has become highly regarded as a producer of jewellery
made with the finest materials and exceptional attention to detail. The Cerrone store in
T1 was designed by Sydney-based architect Robert Parisi, who worked with bronze,
copper and timber veneer finishes to give the store a luxurious feel which complements
the gorgeous pieces.
