As your flight time approaches, staff will bring you forward through the queues to get you on your way safely.

Frequently Asked Questions
What travel restrictions are currently in place?

Australia's borders are now open to people who are fully vaccinated.

You can travel to Australia without needing an individual travel exemption if you are:

  • an Australian citizen
  • an Australian permanent resident
  • a New Zealand citizen usually resident in Australia; or
  • a visa holder who is fully vaccinated for international travel purposes.

If you are a visa holder who is not fully vaccinated for international travel purposes, then you can only travel to Australia if you are in an exempt category or hold an individual travel exemption to enter Australia.

For more information visit the Australian Government's website.

Do I need a negative PCR test to enter Australia?

Fully vaccinated passengers

From Monday 18 April 2022, fully vaccinated passengers are no longer required to provide a negative pre-departure test to enter Australia.

International travellers into and out of Australia will still be required to provide proof of double vaccination against COVID-19.

Travellers will also still be required to wear a mask while on international flights based on medical advice.

Unvaccinated passengers

If you are a visa holder who is not fully vaccinated for international travel purposes, then you can only travel to Australia if you are in an exempt category or hold an individual travel exemption to enter Australia.

For more information on the recent changes, visit the Australian Government website.

Can I come to the airport to speak with airlines?

If you need to contact your airline, we recommend you get in touch before arriving at the airport. Most airlines can be contacted by phone or via their website.

Are there additional security protocols at the airport?

The safety and security of all of our passengers, visitors and staff is our first priority. The same security protocols are in place at the airport, however we encourage you to visit the Australian Government's TravelSECURE website ahead of travel to familiarise yourself with the screening process and the rules around what you can and can't bring onboard your flight.
