Sydney Airport seeks variety of new food retailers in T1 Departures precinct refresh
- T1 Pier C Departures to deliver a revitalised food and beverage offer in late 2015
- Request for proposal for six new food and beverage operators now open for T1 Departures
As part of the current improvements program at Terminal 1, Sydney Airport invites responses to its request for proposal (RFP) for six new contemporary food and beverage brands to join the revitalised Pier C Departures precinct.
The revitalisation of this area of T1 will deliver a newly designed food and beverage offering, which will enhance value and choice for passengers.
Pier C Departures facilitated over three million passengers in 2014 and services a range of international airline carriers across European, Asian and US destinations.
The new RFP seeks to uncover a selection of bar and café style tenancies, street eats from recognised brands, and international styles of fast and fresh food. The opportunity for six tenancies includes a full service bistro, licensed bar, full service café, gourmet urban fast food, a coffee and light snack offering, and a fast and fresh Asian cuisine, catering to a range of tastes.
In keeping with Sydney Airport’s approach to new food and beverage offerings, the selection will ensure passengers can select from a variety of healthy and fresh options across a range of price points.
