The primary function of Sydney Airport is to facilitate the safe, secure and efficient movement of passengers, freight and aircraft. Against this background, Sydney Airport works closely with commercial organisations and individuals wishing to use the airport for filming and photography activities. As Sydney Airport is committed to maintaining safety and security at the airport, we may decline the use of the airport to film or photograph for safety, security or operational reasons.
Please note that filming and photography requests for Terminal 3 should be directed to Qantas which operates the terminal on behalf of Sydney Airport.
As the December/January period is our peak time, commercial filming and photography is not permitted between 15 December and 31 January. Filming and photography requests during November and early December will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and Sydney Airport reserves the right to decline permission.
Responsibility for commercial filming and photography at the airport rests with Sydney Airport Corporate Affairs. For more information about filming and photography at Sydney Airport, refer to the following documents:
Please direct commercial film and photography enquiries or requests for T1 International or T2 Domestic to firstname.lastname@example.org or phone +61 2 9667 6187.
Sydney Airport reserves the right to refuse permission to any organisation or person or to issue a ban on any organisation or person to film or photograph at the airport based on previous abuse or misuse of filming or photography rights. It is therefore important that these guidelines and in particular the Terms and Conditions are complied with.
