Scott Charlton

Chief Executive Officer

Scott joined Sydney Airport as Chief Executive Officer in December 2023.

Scott has more than 25 years of experience in developing, funding, constructing, and operating infrastructure assets, working with some of the sector’s leading ASX-listed corporations.

Immediately prior to joining Sydney Airport, Scott was Chief Executive Officer and a Director of Transurban from 2012, a leading infrastructure company with operations in Australia and North America.

Greg Botham

Greg Botham

Group Executive, Aviation Growth & Group Strategy

Greg is the Group Executive, Aviation Growth & Group Strategy at Sydney Airport and is responsible for Aviation Partnerships, Group Strategy and Strategic Aviation Development. Prior to this, Greg was the airport’s Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

He has 20 years’ Australian infrastructure experience in the airport and energy sectors, including five years as CFO of ASX-listed Spark Infrastructure.

Greg holds a Masters of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology, Sydney, and is a Chartered Accountant (Aust & NZ).

Karen Tompkins

Karen Thompkins

Group Executive, Government Relations, Sustainability & Legal

Karen is the Group Executive, Government Relations, Sustainability & Legal at Sydney Airport and is responsible for Government Relations and the airport’s Sustainability and Environment, Legal and Corporate Governance, Compliance and Internal Audit and Risk functions.

Karen joined Sydney Airport in 2016 and was appointed as General Counsel and Company Secretary in July 2019 and Chief Risk Officer.

Prior to Sydney Airport, Karen worked in the legal team of ASX-listed Stockland for nine years. Her previous experience includes positions in law firms including Minter Ellison, Herbert Geer and Henry Davis York. 

Adrian Witherow

Chief Operations Officer

Adrian is the Chief Operations Officer at Sydney Airport and is responsible for Operations, Safety, Facilities Management, Planning and the Technology, Data and Digital functions at the airport.

Adrian joined Sydney Airport in January 2023 as Chief Transformation Officer.

He has over 20 years experience across various industries, including operations, process improvement, change management and supply chains. In 2013, Adrian joined Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) and during this time he was the Chief Operating Officer at Edinburgh and Gatwick airports.

Adrian has a Professional Diploma in Accounting from Dublin City University and a Masters’ Degree in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University of Belfast.

Kristen Sweeney

Group Executive, People & Corporate Affairs

Kristen is the Group Executive, People & Corporate Affairs and is responsible for the airport’s people strategy including Organisational Culture, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition and Talent Management, Diversity, Equality and Inclusion and Human Resources Operations, as well as the airport's Corporate Services.

Kristen joined Sydney Airport in 2021 as General Manager Human Resources with over 25 years’ experience in senior HR leadership roles across various industries including retail, superannuation, finance and insurance.

Prior to joining the airport, Kristen worked in the property and construction industry as Co-Head of HR for ASX-listed company Mirvac Pty Ltd and has also held a role on the Property Council’s Champions of Change Implementation Committee.

Josh McHutchison

Chief Financial Officer

Josh is Sydney Airport's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and is responsible for managing all financial matters, including Financial Control and Performance, Commercial Finance and Growth, Treasury, Tax and Insurance.

Josh spent the last decade at Lendlease and was most recently the CFO of their Americas businesses.

Earlier in his career, Josh held senior roles with Macquarie Group and Credit Suisse.

Mark Zaouk

Group Executive, Commercial

Mark is the airport's Group Executive, Commercial, and is responsible for leading the commercial portfolio across the airport including leasing and management of the retail, hotels, property, parking and ground transport portfolios.

Mark joined the airport in 2001 and prior to this role held positions across the property, retail and leasing portfolios. 

Mark has more than 21 years of experience in the commercial aviation industry and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Property Economics) from Western Sydney University. He is also a licensed real estate agent.
