Meet the Winner of our XPENG G6 Competition

Last year, the Sydney Airport Parking teamed up with XPENG to launch a pretty exciting prize draw. The prize? A brand new XPENG G6 electric vehicle. After thousands of hopeful entries, one very lucky winner emerged. Say hello to Antony, the new owner of XPENG G6. We caught up with him to chat about the moment he found out and how he is feeling now

1. To start, tell us a little about yourself.

I’m originally from Fairfield, NSW and I work in an import & distribution company as their CFO. I travel often for work and family, so Sydney Airport is a place I’m in and out of quite a bit. I love discovering new experiences and I’m always excited by innovation, especially when it comes to travel and technology.

2. Where were you when you found out you had won the XPENG G6, and what was your first reaction?

I was in my office working when I got the call, and honestly my first reaction was disbelief. I thought it must have been a mistake or a scam at first! Once it sunk in, I was absolutely thrilled — winning a brand-new car is something you never expect to happen.

3. What are you most excited to try first in your XPENG G6, and why?

I’m most excited to experience the technology and driving experience that comes with the XPENG G6. The combination of a modern EV design, smart features, and the comfort of a next-generation car is really appealing.

4. Is this your first EV?

Yes, this will be my first electric vehicle, which makes it even more exciting. I’ve been curious about EVs for a while, so it feels like the perfect introduction into that world.

5. Have you ever won anything else before? If so, how does this compare?

I’ve won small things here and there over the years, but nothing even comes close to this. Winning an XPENG G6 is on a completely different level. It’s genuinely something I’ll never forget.

6. What would you say to other travellers who are thinking about parking at Sydney Airport?

I’d say it’s absolutely worth it. Parking at Sydney Airport is convenient, straightforward, and takes away a lot of the stress that comes with travel. I chose the Premium Valet service as well ...and may I add, the service was perfect. And obviously, you never know... you might just end up winning something incredible too!
