Prepare

Preparing your luggage
The number of bags and weight of each item that you are allowed to check-in and carry on a flight varies and is determined by your airline. Your baggage allowances are usually provided to you at the time of booking. Please check your travel documents or your airline for details.
What you cannot take on board
Although most items are allowed on board as part of your hand baggage, there are some regulations that restrict you from carrying certain items. These include prohibited items, weapons and dangerous goods.
Travel insurance
Travel with ease by taking out appropriate travel insurance before you depart. Travel insurance is designed to cover against personal, baggage and some cancellation risks. It also helps protect against the high cost of emergency medical and hospital care overseas. Speak with your insurer for advice, or talk to an insurance provider at the airport before you leave.
