The Promoter of this competition is Sydney Airport Corporation Ltd (SYD ) (ABN 18165056360) with registered offices at The Nigel Love Building, 10 Arrivals Court, Sydney International Airport NSW 2020.
The Prize Providers are:

1.1 Competition is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 only. One entry per valid email address.
1.2 Competition entrants must be available and eligible to travel to Fiji on 1 December 2021 from Sydney Airport. This means that you must meet the relevant requirements of both the Australian and Fijian governments for travel between the 2 countries.

The Promoter and Prize Providers accept no responsibility for travel arrangements, visas, vaccination certificates, travel insurance, or any other requirement of the Australian of Fijian government in regard to your eligibility to enter the competition, claim the Prize, or to travel
No component of the Prize is transferable or redeemable for cash. No substitutions, changes or amendments to travel dates, accommodation, flights or transfers are possible. The Prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied.
Employees and subcontractors (including their immediate families) of SYD, and any of its suppliers, service providers and agencies associated with the competition are not eligible to enter.
2.1 The Prize is one (1) of five (5) holiday packages consisting of:
a) 2 x economy return adult airfares from to Sydney to Nadi, departing Sydney Airport on flight FJ914 at 6.30am 1 December 2021, valued at AUD$695 per return airfare
b) 5 x nights accommodation in an Ocean View Room including breakfast for two adults at the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, valued at FJD $3368.70 including tax
c) Return transfers to and from Nadi International Airport and the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, valued at FJ$310
2.2 Total prize value per holiday package over AUD $3000.
2.3 Prize does not include costs for PCR tests or travel insurance
2.4 Flights are from Sydney International Airport, additional flights from other destinations to arrive at embarkment point are not included in prize.
2.5 Airline bookings must be organised directly with Fiji Airways prior to departure on the 1 December 2021. Fiji Airways terms and conditions apply, see below.
3.1 To enter this Competition, entrants must fill out the form on the competition webpage (sydneyairport.com.au/firsttofiji) and submit.
3.2 Entrants must consent to be contacted with SYD marketing communications.
3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify any entries if the Promoter, at its sole discretion, believes that there has been an attempt to manipulate or tamper with the operation of the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the Prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
4.1 The promotion commences on 10 November 2021 and concludes at 12pm on 25 November 2021 (Promotional Period). This is subject to change at the Promoter’s discretion.
4.2 Entries will be valid if submitted by eligible entrants during the Promotion Period.
5.1 The draw for the Prize will take place at SYD’s premises at 1 pm on 25 November 2021 and 5 winners will be randomly selected.
5.2 The winners of the Prize will be contacted by phone and email. Entrants must provide a valid email address and phone number to be eligible and must claim the Prize by responding to SYD’s email or phone call within 1 business day. If the Prize is not claimed within this timeframe it will be forfeited by the winner, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
5.3 The names and photographs of each winner will be published on the SYD Facebook and Instagram page.
5.4 The names and contact details of the winners will be provided to the Prize Providers by SYD.
5.5 If the winner chooses not to accept the Prize (or is unable to), or does not claim the Prize within one business day (per clause 5.2), they forfeit the Prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the Prize or provide a cash alternative.
5.6 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend this Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
5.7 Eligibility of entries and the awarding of Prizes is solely within the discretion of SYD. In the case of disputes, SYD’s decision is final. SYD’s decision in relation to all aspects of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters the Promotion, and no correspondence will be entered into.
6.1 The following terms and conditions apply to the winner/s of the Prize
a) For the ticket prize. The ticket prize is personal to the winner and all tickets are non-amendable, non-transferrable and non-refundable.
b) The winner and his/her guest must travel together.
c) Final confirmation of your flights bookings are dependent on availability and Fiji Airways does not accept responsibility for the lack of availability (if any).
d) Fiji Airways reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if Fiji Airways cannot provide the original prize due to circumstances beyond its control.
e) The prize does not include travel insurance which is your responsibility.
f) You are responsible for the payment of all taxes levied on, or in connection with, the prize and your use of it, including any taxes on your income.
g) The cost of domestic travel to reach the nominated departure point is your responsibility.
h) You are responsible for ensuring that you and any person travelling with you are available to travel on the specified dates, and hold valid passports, and any necessary visas and travel documents required. You both must be medically fit to travel.
i) The prize is not negotiable or transferable. The prize is not eligible for mileage accrual for any Frequent Flyer Programs.
j) Airline tickets are for Economy Class travel only and upgrading to a higher class by paying the fare difference is not permitted. Flight reservations must be made in advance and are subject to availability at the time of booking. A copy of your passport must be provided at the time of booking.
k) Additional terms and conditions apply to the respective components of the prize provided by the competition partners and are available directly from them. These terms and conditions may include rules and restrictions about the use and availability of fares, products and services, and conditions of carriage and may seek to limit or exclude the relevant partner’s liability to you for death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.
l) Fiji Airways’ terms and conditions are outlined in the Fiji Airways conditions of carriage (available via www.fijiairways.com ), which provides general information related to booking and flying with Fiji Airways. It is important that you familiarise yourself with these conditions of carriage.
m) Fiji Airways accepts no liability or responsibility in connection with any booking, product or supply from any of the competition partners.
n) The prize may not be used in combination with any other ongoing offers/ promotions/ contests/ discounts.
6.2 Claiming the Prize
a) In order to claim the prize you must:
i. meet the conditions for eligibility and participation for the competition; and
ii. provide personal identification (eg. Valid passport, Driver’s License, Birth Certificate) acceptable to Fiji Airways.
b) The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
c) Fiji Airways does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
6.3 Release From Liability
a) Insofar as is permitted by law, you hereby release Fiji Airways (including its directors, officers and employees) from all and any actions, claims, rights and demands, worldwide, whether or not presently known to you or to the law, whether in law or equity, that you may have against Fiji Airways (including its directors, officers and employees) arising out of or in connection with this competition. This release does not affect Fiji Airways’ liability to you under the Fiji Airways conditions of carriage in connection with your flights on Fiji Airways.
6.4 General
a) Fiji Airways is not responsible for any delay in flights or transfers that occurs for reasons beyond its control.
7.1 Dates are not transferable, arrive 1st December, Depart 6th December.
7.2 Prizes are not transferable for money
7.3 Based on a maximum of 2 guests per room only
7.4 Return Airport Transfers are shared, not individual transfers
7.5 Accommodation is in an Ocean View room with breakfast for 2 guests daily
7.6 Prize winners are able to extend their stay at their own expense, subject to room availability. Any extension to the 5 night stay must be booked directly with Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort.
7.7 In the event of an extension to the 5 night stay, transfers from Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort to Nadi International Airport will be at the Prize winners own expense and must be rebooked directly with Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort
8.1 SYD accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries, or for any technical difficulties or periods of unavailability of the entry mechanism during the Promotional Period
8.2 SYD will not be liable for, and each competition entrant releases (to the fullest extent permitted by law) SYD and its related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the competition and the Prizes.
8.3 SYD reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual or company who it considers has breached any of these terms and conditions, or has engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the competition.
8.4 Once winners have been announced and have informed SYD of the intention to claim prizes, winners must deal directly with Fiji Airways and/or Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort to book flights and accommodation. Sydney Airport will not be responsible for the provision of or any disputes related to the Prizes.
8.5 All references to time in this document are a reference to the local time in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia on the date stated.
9.1 Any personal information collected by the SYD will be treated in accordance with it’s privacy policy available at https://www.sydneyairport.com.au/info-sheet/privacy.
9.2 Information on how to enter and SYD’s Privacy Policy forms part of these terms and conditions of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry. By entering this competition, each entrant consents to SYD using his or her contact details to send marketing communications.
