Travel Update: Tropical Cyclone Alfred

Qantas

Qantas is offering additional flexibility to customers who have booked flights on or before 3 March 2025 for travel to or from:

• Bundaberg, Coffs Harbour, Hervey Bay, Lord Howe Island and Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) departing between 4 and 9 March 2025.
• Ballina (Byron), Brisbane, and Gold Coast departing between 4 and 16 March 2025.

Customers who booked direct with Qantas can visit Manage Booking, or contact 13 13 13 within Australia to discuss their options.

Customers who booked through a Travel Agent should contact their agent directly for assistance.

Virgin Australia

Guests travelling on Virgin Australia services to or from Ballina, Brisbane, Bundaberg, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast airports from Tuesday, 4 March to Monday, 10 March (inclusive) can choose to move their flight to a new date within 14 days (from the original departure date) free of charge or cancel and request a travel credit by contacting the Virgin Australia Guest Contact Centre on 13 67 89 or your travel agent.

The original ticket must be issued on or before Monday, 3 March 2025. Moving to a new flight is subject to availability.

Jetstar will contact affected customers by SMS with options including alternative flights, a free move up to 14 days or a travel voucher.
