Sydney Airport’s T1 International Terminal has long been known for its luxury shopping, diverse dining scene, and lounge experiences. Now, you can add a workout to your pre or post-flight routine.

Anytime Fitness has officially opened at T1 International Arrivals, becoming Australia’s first airport-based gym. Designed with travellers and airport staff in mind, the purpose-built, two-level, 300-square-metre space makes it easier than ever to prioritise your health and wellbeing while on the go.

And the best part? No security clearance required. It’s open to everyone.

Round-the-Clock Gym Access

Airports don’t operate on a typical schedule, and neither does Anytime Fitness. With 24/7 access, you can train before an early departure, stretch out after a late arrival, or reset after a long shift.

Instead of pacing the terminal or scrolling at the gate, a short workout can help reset your body and mind before takeoff. Post-flight, even a short stretching session or light strength workout can boost circulation, loosen tight hips, shake off stiffness, and make jet lag feel slightly more manageable. Sometimes it’s less about pushing hard and more about moving your body.

Thoughtfully Designed, Fully Equipped

The space is thoughtfully designed, with functional training zones ideal for mobility and recovery, premium Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment, and two dedicated lifting platforms for strength training. The premium showers and amenities are designed for people on the move, whether hopping on a flight, freshening up before a meeting in the city, or heading straight to the office after landing.

Local Team, Personal Support

The club is locally owned and operated with a supportive community to help you reach your health and fitness goals. The team offers free fitness consultations and personalised plans, so whether you’re a regular gym-goer or just trying to build better habits while travelling, you’ll have experienced coaches on hand to help guide you every step of the way. Anytime Fitness has also launched “Fit to Fly” routines available in-club and on YouTube. The short session features six simple, strength-led exercises, including Goblet Squats and Romanian Deadlifts, designed to boost circulation, support posture, and prepare your body for long periods of sitting without leaving you fatigued.
