Lunar New Year at T1 - Photobooth, Red Envelopes & More

2026-01-21T00:00:00Z

Welcome Welcome

Lunar New Year is landing at Sydney Airport with unique experiences and exclusive surprises to celebrate the year ahead in style. From 10-27 February, Terminal 1 will come alive with the spirit of the Year of the Horse, a symbol of strength, freedom, and vitality.

Whether you're travelling near or far, take a moment to immerse yourself in the celebrations and enjoy a little extra luck on your journey.

What the Year of the Horse Means

While the Year of the Snake invited quiet reflection and transformation beneath the surface, the Year of the Horse bursts forth with energy and momentum. In Chinese astrology, those born in the Year of the Horse are known for their boldness, independence, and adventurous spirit.

Horses are driven by motion and momentum, always striving forward and rarely standing still. 2026 invites us all to embrace those same qualities: to move freely, take risks, and pursue life with passion and purpose.

Curious how the Year of the Horse might influence your zodiac sign?
