Welcome to our Community Newsletter - March 2026 edition

We're excited to bring you the latest from Sydney Airport in this edition of our Community Newsletter.

This edition spotlights the launch of Sydney Airport’s 10-year Habitat Positive partnership with Taronga, restoring more than 3,000 hectares of critically endangered Box Gum Woodlands in Northern NSW to support up to 36 threatened species, including koalas and will generate carbon credits to support SYD’s pathway to Net Zero by 2030 (Scope 1&2 emissions).

The edition also celebrates new and ongoing community partnerships, including support for Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club, litter removal in local waterways with Seabin™ and a $1 million contribution to a new Bayside pump track. It features stories of local suppliers, SYD volunteers and careers at SYD, alongside updates on community investment, Master Plan 2045 (https://www.masterplan2045.com.au/), sustainability and local economic impact.

Whether you live, work, or spend time near Sydney Airport, this newsletter is for you.
